These organizations are run by wonderful people who have the best intentions. However, the machine operates in only one direction – profit above all else. Consider the following:

A Simple Solution
A good first step is to re-establish our human connections to nature and each other. No politician, legislation, military, or zillions of fictitious money can bring a solution. The current economy based structure makes no account of the natural world – nor does it fulfill our inherent human needs.
Provide the Basics – Food, Water, Shelter, and most importantly – strong social relationships through community cooperation – and all else will follow.
