2020 Vision

2020 Vision

The polarization of the people has become poignant. Many look forward to 2020 so they can elect a new leader. Many are warily aware that the division, entrenched lobbyist, and trillions in debt will not simply dissipate. Yet there seems to be no better alternative. We see things differently. The future we foresee has nothing to do with a savior leader or government plan to get the economy straight. Our 2020 vision is based on a mass realization of simple truths, and a rejection of normalized lies. This is not truth in a philosophical sense, but one of living together in tribes – free of the trappings that separate us. The more you add to the truth the more you take from it. This means no more excusing every problem as complicated – a positive approach that does not use the blueprints of our current system. By creating instead of conceding, there is a hopeful and focused vision for new communities built from those willing to walk away from the matrix. Our latest portable and self sustaining dome home is ready to be a part of this future.

We offer our design as an open source project to help with some of our most pressing problems. We envision new towns of self sustainable and inexpensive geodesic dome homes that support a better way of living – one that offers an uncomplicated path to the basic needs of a home, food, energy, and community.  The lack of true cohesive care and mentorship has led to an epidemic in addiction, violence, racism and depression. How many mass shootings and teen suicides are needed before we accept the blaring reality we are walking. It is clearly understood that addiction like most human unrest, is caused by a lack of human connection. It is time for a system that fosters human needs instead of profiting from them.

Living with true community and communication is idealistic mumble jumble since humans are hardwired for self interest above all. Although this is the knee jerk response we are taught as our history; there is another way that does not have to be taught – since it comes naturally. It reveals itself instantly whenever we see another in need or in pain. The conditioned compartmentalization of our minds melts and humans will instinctually help each other. The response to this year’s storms is a good case in point. Our human connection can never be completely muffled by the rigid grid matrix that has been structured over the last few thousand years. Futuristic and apocalyptic science fiction films very often reflect this premise. The super powerful and scary empire is always fumbled by hope and heart. The stories we tell show the hidden truths we all understand.

We are taught to live defensively, as if it were the normal state. Constant conflict and competition create an anxious population living the Stockholm Syndrome. Thousands of years of history have proven this a very effective way to control the masses and keep power. We are convinced or mandated to accept that it is our civic duty to support organizations and institutions of every type. They are there to protect us. But so many now understand who these institutions truly serve.  We reject a world based on lies and fate born of fear. We opt to take responsibility by creating a different world daily.

We lean on an understanding of the universe’s paradigm and the significance and power of our words and feelings. Our dreams are not simply the domain of Disneyland. They are in our thought, speech, and emotional energy. You do not need an organization, politician or any middleman to send out your heart’s intent. Many stories of old are imprinted in our synapses to blind us from the beauty before us. They often strip our potent power to create reality. No more real news or fake news – only the news we create daily. Consciousness and our heart’s magnetism are the only answer to realize our power. Once we understand we are the authors, the big money media machines can no longer dictate the scripts that control our lives.  The time has come to reject the paper chains of an enslaving system.

Both left and right believe they are the smart ones with all the answers. Both are programmed with words and numbers to define themselves as separate and in constant comparison and competition with the other. All the while the bickering goes on, the present is lost and the future is usurped.  Ancestral, family and community ties are steadily becoming obsolete. Our humanity is grounded in solidarity, but is currently largely dormant under the suppression of separation. However, the clear instinctual awareness that we are one source can cut through our clouded hearts like a laser.

Instead of Art of War being on the reading list, how about the Art of Peace instead. We spend $700 million a day on bombs and warfare. Imagine if those hard earned resources went toward the future of our children. This is not complicated. It is time for attention focused on reality rather than the script that gives air to a world at war. No one wants to stop the gravy train and become an outcast by accepting this hard fact. It is time to end the incessant conversation about the sport of politics and the characters that create the dreadful storyline of the powerful and the sheeple they control. We are all powerful. No amount of big guns, bank accounts, or legislation can replace our true power to create. We all hold the universe in our mind’s eye. Everyone for president in 2020. Soul up.

The real magic of our feelings has been deadened or desperately diminished to serve the purpose of the few in power. The logic of life is replaced by a nonsensical economy based on continuous growth on a finite planet. Peace, purpose, and prosperity will spread exponentially like the nodes of a sprouting plant once we abandon the fiction we are collectively living. Most of our energy props up and supports the current state. Tomorrow’s generation can only be taught anew by witnessing a different reality than money and power over all else. Community driven and family focused activity are crucial. Respect for big banks and leaders must be replaced by respect for one’s ancestors, elders and innate wisdom.  Basic sustenance cannot be held as a short leash to one’s awareness of their true talents and contribution to the whole.

With the height of ignorance and arrogance before us – the tides will change. Once we stop repeating the lies, we can get back to the basics and beauty of real life – untainted and demented by words of separation and scarcity boxed in a model of racism, sexism, and capitalism. There is nothing honorable or respectable about accolades from the current establishment. The future has no labels and no leaders … “down with the isms and schisms.”

This is the final blog regarding our intentions. What follows will be actions and documentation of the implementation. Our 2020 vision is about the beginning of an awakening and eye opening such that we may all see more clearly. What is happening now does not reflect reality, but a programmed ideology which enriches and empowers the few while fleecing the fooled. Prisons for profit says that the system is perfect. It is the people who are bad. The problem is bad behavior or simply psychological – which can be fixed with punishment, therapy, or drugs. We reject this notion. In the near future we will begin to see the current discourse as barbarically absurd. A complete lack of realization of the light and life thriving amongst us. We are at the brink of a change in technology and human perspective. “The present is pregnant with the future”  – Voltaire. The water has just broken.

Some may say that If all this is true, then we would have a better world already.  However, the true human heart is currently buried under a lifetime of living on poison pills of the media we absorb.  We unwittingly live with constant anxiety that fuels the power of our masters. This is easily done when the basics for survival must be obtained by conforming to a failing system. There seems to be no choice. This is where our dome home project comes in. We do not believe in fighting the system, but creating a new one instead.

This assessment may be dismissed by some, especially those who benefit from the current state of affairs. However, we believe that there are many that will readily walk away from the matrix that enslaves them, and begin a new kind of living. There are still areas where new communities and townships can be formed. Most land is tied up in red tape and mandatory hooks into the polluting for profit system. These were artificially brought into control by those claiming to protect us. “What has been written by man can be unwritten.”  If you still believe in these systems, then we will not try to convince you. If you see the real world for what it is and desire to put your love and energy into something new – we welcome you to join in the creation of a new way.

Overstanding Who Controls Your Future?

Overstanding Who Controls Your Future?

Human beings share a common trait with community centered animals like the dolphins, elephants, wolves, lions, monkeys and others. Many studies have shown how small numbers can influence large populations. Some question the Hundredth Monkey Effect, but other studies and simple observation show us the influence a small group can have on the whole of society. Many know this from the science of quantum entanglement or from original intuition. Many find it uncomfortable to accept that they indeed have an influence and thus a responsibility. It is much easier to blame someone or something else for the state of the planet and population. Trump or Hillary?

Dolphins are considered to be the longest living intelligent creatures on Earth, having reigned for approximately 35 million years before humans beings entered the scene. Many believe they are far more intelligent than humans, pointing to an extra portion of their brain that is enlarged. It seems from many studies that although each dolphin is very much an individual with it’s unique personality, they ultimately do not differentiate themselves from their group pod. This is how they are so easily rounded up into a cove and slaughtered. They can very easily jump over the barriers and escape death, but a dolphin understands well the power of “one for all and all for one.”

Some may say that this is weakness, which is why they are so easily killed. Surely humans are gods on earth who rule above and apart from all other creatures. Our strength comes from individual power, brute force, and our competitive nature. Anyone who doesn’t believe this will get plowed over by the reality of the world. This default perception of reality is part of an obsolete script that has a horrific track record. The majority of what we learn from our history class is the war, racism, and chaos of past times. We are taught that our laws, civilization, and money are our only saviors from our violent natural instincts. It’s a dog eat dog world.

This way of educating the future generation does not account for the thousand of years before we became sheep. How about the peoples of past who survived thousands of years without destroying each other or earth’s natural systems. Our darkest human atrocities took root with the introduction of what we call civilization.  Where has this understanding led us? With the continuous and growing poisoning of the world and subjugation of humans, it seems like an overstanding is now needed instead of understanding.

To change our future we must take a wider angle and go beyond the layline to work from a place of complete intuitive comprehension of our relationship to each other. Overstanding means coming from a place that is above the ideologies most now consider to be the real world. This old understanding has all but made our planet a wasteland – physically and spiritually. We don’t suggest going back to grass huts and running around naked. But we have the technology and the ability to communicate and create like never before. Instead of allowing and accepting being enslaved and poisoned, we could collectively decide to form our own future. You just might be the hundredth monkey.

Taking a Stand by Sitting Down

Taking a Stand by Sitting Down

I remember a particular World War II film our class watched in high school, as if it were yesterday. It showed footage of a vendor just outside a Nazi concentration camp with a glass box displaying human tattoo swatches. There were jovial ladies viewing the skinned tattoo art, like they were jewelry shopping in a boutique. They wore immaculate clothing and seemed like the nicest folks you could meet. This was both stunning and horrifying. It was difficult to imagine how they could ignore the human suffering and smoke spewing from the camp in the background. The class was appeased with an assurance that this could never happen again. Still there was a burning yearning to understand what all the good people were doing while Germany transformed.

Certainly there were those who detested the crimes against humanity, but most were silenced into submission for fear of being blacklisted, scorned, or killed. Discent can be deadly in an environment where there is no tolerance for freely voiced opposition. This dangerous state of affairs does not happen overnight. It is a slow wave of escalating fears that are captured and harnessed by power brokers, and then repurposed with propaganda logic – void of branches. Some have named this the totalitarian tiptoe. This creates a state and system that is beyond reproach. Terrible things can happen when questioning one’s own self and society is no longer possible.

Respecting those who challenge the norm is most crucial for freedom. The recent backlash against Colin Kaepernick for sitting during the national anthem is concerning whether or not you agree with his methods. Taking a stand by sitting down and not participating in peaceful protest is a time proven method to instigate change. History shows us that those who have done this in the past are treated brutally, but are ultimately redeemed as defenders of freedom once time unfolds. Rosa Parks’ historic act of simply sitting at the front of a bus in defiance of racial injustice is a good example. At the time the majority criticized her acts as criminal.

We are all a valuable part of a larger whole. Although only a small minority feel they actually have the power to steer the machine.  Some are switch operators, some can make tweaks, some can simply stall it, but we all have the ability to affect our course. Sometimes the best way to take a stand is to sit down and hold back one’s support. Now more than ever the courage to speak out should be cherished and not criticized.

It takes a consensus to move in any direction. Since most everyone wants love and peace for their family – we will have it once selfish interests no longer control the agenda. Collectively we all steer the human experience on earth. There is a common thread of goodness that is strong in people of all political, religious, and cultural backgrounds. Our ongoing dome project is woven of this fine thread of humanity. We are driven by the inability to sit idle and watch the program. We prefer to actively create something new and different.

We Are All Police

We Are All Police

The recent tragedy in Dallas,Texas opened an opportune time for Congress to sneak the Sith’s Dark Act into law. But there could be positive after effects as well. A new dialogue has begun. The continued incidents of mass shootings and violence by and towards police has stirred up sorely needed discussions. There is much talk of late about the need for change and a call for more love in our society. We should cherish this time before this sad story’s lifespan expires and the normally programmed political puppet show resumes. So what does this have to do with our geodesic dome project?

Our open source project is not simply a way to build an efficient home and food production system. The motivation for our continued development is the realization that most problems on our planet are rooted in exploitation. We believe the beginning of change happens by allowing humans a means to live without government dependency – or by selling their soul. The harnessing of our collective human energy by banking cartels and callous corporations has made a small group extremely powerful. The masses are “educated” in the ways that numbers and words control their destiny. Much of the semblance of human authenticity and connection is mostly buried deep and ignored as unrealistic in an unjust world.

There is an unspoken script that we collectively share and follow. Whether by direct structuring and enforcement, or by our daily participation – we all support the same story. Many don’t agree with the way things are, but nearly all contribute by necessity. By default we all are responsible for our current state. The constant changes in politicians does nothing to change our course. The escalating unrest and economic hardships will continue until there are real changes in our daily dialogue and actions. Blaming the police or the protestors is useless.

As Noam Chomsky succinctly states, the people truly have the power, but give it up “by opinion.” Through programming and propaganda we submit to supporting a failed system. The violence and unrest we see should not be allowed to become the new normal. Going about with business as usual is like planning a party on the sinking Titanic. It is not enough to use the same excuses and language of irresponsibility and foregone power. We have the technology and ability to communicate like no other time before. There is an inherent responsibility we also inherit with these powerful new tools.

Our advancing technology is increasingly being implemented towards attaining greater control. We wish for the tools of today to be used towards real change, not for increasing the complexity and profits of the current slave system. So long as we fail to take responsibility for our communities, we will have police to control us. The real police are naturally the community of fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, grandparents, neighbors and friends. The introduction of police forces in a society represents a community that has lost its foundation. Responsibility for one’s community has been forfeited, and with it – much of our freedom. If we want real change, we must all be the police.

Creating Space with a Geodesic Dome

Creating Space with a Geodesic Dome

We are planning dome builds at various sites where water, inexpensive land, and permissive building regulations all meet. However, these areas are typically outside where most people live and work. These locations are often off grid and are an average of an hour traveling distance from major metropolitan hubs. Most folks live within the grid, but would like to build a geodesic dome for an aquaponic garden, a meditation area, storage, tool shop, play house, or extra room for you name it.  To fill this need we are designing a 12 foot diameter portable dome kit that is small enough to build without permits in most areas, but big enough to do a whole lot.

We found many like the idea of a self sustainable dome home, but are not able or ready to make the plunge into living off grid anytime soon. So, we decided to create a small portable dome design to introduce folks to the ease, beauty, and functionality of a dome building. The process is as educational as it is useful. Putting together a smaller version of the dome home is a great way to get started on your path to self sufficiency.

The frame is steel tubing which can be covered with Insulated magnetic wood triangles that have roofing or windows. These are the same design as used on the larger dome homes. This creates an insulated and quiet space that could accommodate many uses such as a play area, music room, cabana etc. Panels are easily customizable to provide windows where you want them. Alternately the dome could be covered with polycarbonate panels, ETFE, woven poly, Tyvek, and other creative covering materials and methods. There are a variety of uses such as a greenhouse, jacuzzi room, sun room or whatever your kick is.

Building an accessory building as a dome structure is not only a much nicer sight then a tool shed, it is structurally superior and portable too. The ease of construction could inspire some to go big and eventually build their very own geodesic dome home. Our larger projects include water capture systems, compostable toilets, air exchange temperature control, and solar power systems. You may want to learn more about these systems and living in a dome once you experience the feeling of going round. Some may eventually decide to get out of the box and off the grid.

We plan to have our first models ready by the end of summer. We will be providing the process and plans online as an open source venture to persuade any and all into the realm of geodesic dome building. More importantly, we hope that these domes will spread and be seen as a symbol of what is to come. Experiencing a new way of building self sustainable sensible homes is the beginning of a future where we provide for all of our common needs and solve our biggest problems without the complicated crumbling system currently in place.

Zero Net Energy Dome Homes

Zero Net Energy Dome Homes

The way we get energy will change the course of the future. From solar cells to magnetic wave energy – the future looks brighter. Although the technology exists to build a better home, new dwellings continue to be built essentially the same way as they have been for over a century. This is great news for the industries that arose to prominence during the industrial revolution. The gas, oil, coal, construction, and banking industries are all about business as usual. However, there are now many more options available that we will explore and implement in the coming months.

Our first phase of the new dome home design will be to outfit all domes with airtight insulated triangle panels that do not let air in or out. Proper insulation and air control allow for homes to maintain a constant temperature without the need for cooling and heating of the interior air. Homes all over the world have demonstrated that there are various techniques to accomplish this seemingly impossible feat. How can you heat and cool a home without a furnace or air conditioning unit? The answer is controlled air exchange.

Controlled air exchange has been accomplished and proven to work by never allowing air to come directly into or out of the home. This is accomplished by designing an air tight structure accompanied by a series of tubes that allow and release air slowly, while mixing the air that comes in with air that comes out. Calculating the proper timing and tube arrangement is where the science comes in. Luckily we have several mad scientists that have volunteered to help. We are currently working on a nice looking spiral design that will fit nicely atop the dome interior.

We will be using solar energy to power self sufficient arduino micro controllers, which in turn will be monitored through a Raspberry Pi mini computer – not much bigger than a deck of playing cards. A series of sensors, small fans and servo motors will monitor and control the flow of air as needed. Depending on the temperature needs, the air will flow faster or slower and be cooled or heated slightly as it passes through the tubes. This cooling and heating only needs to be applied to a very small amount of air within the tubes. In this way, tiny fans and micro heating elements are all that are needed. The exact diameter of the tubes will vary by dome diameter.  Like all of our open source projects, the final design will be posted online for all to use.

We are called Future of the Free because we envision something different for the next generation. We are determined to end the cycle of paper chains by devising new and innovative ways to live without being gross consumers, but instead citizens that are keenly aware of their influence on the big picture. The solutions are before us and are quite simple and logical. The hardest part seems to be separating from the grid that we are all so comfortable supporting. Stay tuned to see the future unfold.

Should You Build A Square or Round Home?

Should You Build A Square or Round Home?

As we prepare to build our first proof of concept dome homes, the differences of a square and round building become very significant. Nearly every part of the box structure is attached to entrenched interests, regulations, monthly bills, and draining maintenance and repair schedules. The characteristics of the square design mirror the mechanism of the grid which they are part. The dome home is specifically designed to be liberating at every step – from building and maintenance to daily freedom to live. The significance of building a round dome structure goes much deeper than superiority of strength, utility, and sustainability. A dome design contrasts sharply with the underpinnings of control that are cemented within the very foundations of the grid box society and structures we currently contain ourselves within.

The open source geodesic dome home is designed to overcome the hooks and anchors inherent in a the grid system. You have the typical 30 year enslavement to the lending banks and insurance companies of every sort, utility bills, and then many more bills. Your childhood centers on education so you believe, then education loans so you have to believe. Look forward to rising healthcare costs that will profitably pretend to fix you once the cycle of fear, anxiety, and poisoned food leave you a shell of a human. Also, this box home is forever in need of maintenance for it’s outdated power, plumbing, drainage, electrical and temperature control systems. Beware of this stilted structure prone to collapse in times of earthquake or severe weather. Dealing with all this will make you feel like you are trapped in a box.

Based on nature’s structural engineering, a dome’s members all support each other, and thus architects confirm it is the strongest structure known to man. The dome home can be portable or permanent and easily built by anyone from materials found everywhere. By design, repair is easy and replacement parts readily available and inexpensive. The triangle panels are magnetic and easily rearranged, removed or replaced. The same is true of the portable solar system, plumbing system, and the closed loop water capture and compost systems.  No heavy equipment or tools are needed to build, repair or maintain the dome. Add food production with gardens and aquaponic bio domes for complete health and freedom.

By looking beyond the grid, seemingly insurmountable obstacles can easily be overcome with just a bit of effort focused on our families and future. The biggest obstacle is our pre programmed perspective that has us continuously distracted and tangled in tradition, red tape and regulation. Square structures have not caught up to the newest technology and methods of using energy, water and food – without creating waste. Geodesic domes are far superior in strength, sensibility, and sustainability. The circular environment is conducive to free air and energy flow. The significance of access to these unseen  energy waves are largely ignored now, but are becoming realized as new instruments of measurement become known. The box structure blocks access to naturally occurring energy waves and information that is all around us.

We believe a new type of freedom is emerging that is based on self dependence and the ability to truly control our destiny. It really is not complicated or time consuming to build a beautiful home and provide food and security for one’s family. A free society inside a box system is a fantasy. The state of the world’s affairs and the health of earth’s real systems shows how well this square civilization has worked out.  A new type of progress is at hand – one that centers on the daily growth of our connection and commitment to a strong round community where all members support each other.

An Unscientific Method: Why We Build Domes

An Unscientific Method: Why We Build Domes

Our dome building ventures go much deeper than it’s obvious usefulness as a portable, self sustaining dwelling. We understand that the structure of our world itself is rooted in the everyday actions and beliefs of the population. Most are “educated” to believe that we are simply another animal with instincts and genetic predispositions linked to survival, competition, and limited by the material environment. This is the traditional perspective, and certainly fits nicely with the program the majority of the world runs on. However, a close look at ancient writings and “new” scientific knowledge points to the difference between the animal and the human. There is a grand difference between what our language and communication is capable of – when compared to other living creatures.

Noam Chomsky, often called the father of linguistics, studied how mostly all animal communication is in response and linked to some external condition in the environment. Does this mean animals don’t think or have feelings? Hardly, and if you ever met an animal you likely know. Animals have always been intricately linked to human life and likely use sounds in ways that do effect humans. Consider the songs of birds. This is an interesting area of study for the future. We currently have lots of research on human language. Chomsky notes that the language of humans is 99% internal and never reaches the tongue. So what happens to all the rest of the language that goes on internally. What is it? What does it mean? What are its affects and effects? Interestingly, new studies show that our DNA is always changing in response to language – and is often called the book of life.

Many answers are now emerging from brain scans, magnetic image resonance, and experiments in quantum physics. The results and findings being revealed from this body of evidence turns out to be quite ancient. What we think, believe and most importantly feel, determine consequences – and are fundamental to the creation of our physical reality. The power of our language is not simply to communicate external conditions and warnings, but rather a mechanism of thought and feeling utterly unique. We are unlike any other animal. Our feelings and thoughts communicated through internal conversation, affects what we call reality. This ultimately ends up causing what we currently consider scientifically measurable effects. The affect portion, seems to be the beginning of cause, but is all largely ignored in modern scientific inquiry. Only the physical effects and observations are typically considered relevant. This leads many to now consider the Scientific Method to be increasingly obsolete and indeed unscientific.

What you know undeniably – and what you believe based on tradition and culture are often altogether different. Finding out why, and pulling them apart is what we hope the future brings. Our world population now believes in a boxed world based on the physical proof we ourselves have built. We often ignore what we know to be true since it is framed as unrealistic or idealistic. What if we forget about making pre programmed excuses for our world’s growing problems? What if we began to realize we create with our every thought and feeling. What if we gradually started to act on what we know to be unequivocally true. The world is round and cannot bear a linear system of power and control, defined by manipulated politics, materialistic walls, and a fictitious economy. What if the goal were to change? We aim to act on what we know to be true. This is why we build domes. We believe that how we live today will determine the reality of tomorrow.

Descendants of the Dollar

The other night while eating Chinese food, my young son pulled out a fortune that read, “Time is Money.” Of course the question followed, “What does that mean?” It occurred to me at this moment that my response would help form a young mind’s world view. Is it even possible to explain our activities and goals outside the concept of money? The entire world respects and accepts the almighty dollar as the end all. After all we cannot survive without money right?  Most of our daily lives are devoted to the dollar. Is this the point where I break the news to a young soul, that his life is ultimately dependant on a currency. Is this our inheritance, legacy, and our destiny?

Money creates an environment that fosters hard work, responsibility, and the opportunity to do and be whatever you dream. Our democracy is a meritocracy where anyone can succeed. If this is the case, then we merely need to teach our young to thrive in the world we live in. If not, then we have a greater responsibility. Either way the question remains, “What will we leave the next generation?” As of the writing of this article the national U.S. debt is $18,609,854,385,435.22 and raising with every second. Does this mean the next generation will be descendants of debt? Who do we owe so much to – and why? Most work all day everyday, yet the debt.

This is not a about bartering, currency, or trade. These are human activities that allow us to work and interact together. It is an issue of the means muffling out the end. We are nearing a point of almost total dependence on the dollar instead of each other. In times past we handed down intimate knowledge about the land we live on, work skills, and a place in the community. Most importantly we passed on invaluable knowledge – an understanding of how to live with each other through strong lifelong relationships. Today it is legal to abandon all responsibility once a child reaches the age of eighteen. Lasting relationships have been reduced to a shell of what they once were as the pursuit for paper money has consumed our focus and the earth with it.  Yet, we are taught that our current state is a result of a progression from bad to better, and what we have now is the best possible situation. Our only responsibility is to support and defend the status quo with our lives.

The word Abracadabra derives from an ancient Aramaic phrase meaning “I create as I speak.” Science now shows us that words and sound affect the 90% of our DNA that was previously referred to as “junk DNA.” So living and speaking of the world as perilous and poor makes it so. Nearly everything on the daily news speaks of a world of scarcity, fear, and violence. There simply is not enough money and education available for everyone to learn the game. Yet we produce enough resources, energy and food to take care of multiple earth populations. We have built a world centered on a fictitious concept we call the economy. What happens when this illusion ends? Our descendants will be left with whatever the dollar and debt decide. Should we put all of our faith in the magic arm of the market or the magic of our own true words, actions, and feelings?

Governance and the Laws of Life

Governance and the Laws of Life

Recently I heard a Hungarian man on the radio explain how the decision to help suffering refugees was unanimous amongst his family, even though a new law imposed up to three years in jail for the “offense” of helping immigrants – also known as humans.  The man explained that the “laws of life” always reign. The next day I was asked by my youngest son how it was that people become poor. It would have been easy to simply explain that people reach states of desperation because they are lazy or somehow not living properly. Certainly this is what we are supposed to believe – everything is awesome. Our world is in good order, and those who are not fairing well are the problem – not a symptom of a greater dilemma.

What are the laws of life? They are things that are accepted by all people without explanation or exception; understandings and inclinations that are inborn and do not require a lifetime of education to learn – or unlearn. To unravel the innate laws of life takes well over a decade of separation of a human from their family, put into rows of learning, and utterly convinced daily of the “order” of things and the legitimacy of their masters. In many countries this happens by growing up in a soul stripping war torn dictatorship. Unfortunately, this so called order fragments families, benefits very few, and has decimated the earth. Most are convinced to disregard the laws of life as unattainable ideals, while incessantly memorizing, repeating, and enforcing the words and tenants of our failed system.

No one is born poor. Even my seven year son knows this – he didn’t ask why some are born poor, but rather how do they become so. At a young age we recognize the separation and stratification we are to accept, whilst proclaiming equality and freedom for all. How does this contradiction become law and bond in our minds? Thankfully, the laws of life keep this selfish and skewed logic from completely penetrating our hearts. We have charities, organizations, and government protections to convince us that the laws of life are being upheld. Most of us never take direct responsibility.  Most are forced by necessity to put all their focus and energy into building up the very order that has caused the chaos. Luckily, lies always have a limited shelf life and are invariably exposed and come to an end. The laws of life have no statute of limitation.

When does helping a fellow human become an offense? Is this legitimate governance? How do politicians like Trump and others currently gain legitimacy and popularity on a platform disturbingly similar to the rhetoric of the Nazi party. Hitler started with just 17 youths who he convinced to promote his agenda. Although Trump has a concerning amount of support, imagine what influence a handful of people could instigate by spreading a message of humanity. Considering all of the genocide of the last 60 years, the Holocaust never ended, but has spread to a worldwide scale and is now legitimized. What is our role in supporting the current course while the ill gotten fruits are endlessly flaunted?  Today we talk of them and us, left and right etc. Tomorrow the laws of life will guide us to our center.

The Laws of Life

La La Land and the Power of Peace

La La Land and the Power of Peace

Many folks ask if our self sustainable dome project is to prepare for coming doom and gloom. There is a growing fear of what many call a societal breakdown which necessitates armed protection. Online and all around social media there is evidence of a growing interest in owning and learning to use firearms. Many call this a necessary evil, and proclaim we should get armed, be realistic – and quit living in La La Land. We believe the term ‘necessary evil’ is a pervasive oxymoron that in due time will no longer be an acceptable excuse for perpetuating violence. In the spirit of sustainability we choose peace as our protection rather than arms.  Here is why.

Everyone remembers learning of the forming of the Union from the original 13 colonies. We memorized the names of generals and dates of the bloody clashes with the natives. Most believe that there was no way to live in peace on the same land. We rarely hear about the peace in Pennsylvania where the non violent Quakers had no incidents of murder or rape living amongst the natives. It was not until the Union formed and the military established itself in Pennsylvania that killings began. Some Quakers then died – but only three that had joined the newly established army.

Similar to the Middle East story… the “powers that be” made sure their financial interests were protected through puppet politicians and armed proxy governments and guerrillas in the last half of the twentieth century. Thus Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras all had civil wars followed by decades of violence and social unrest. This subsequently led to generations of lost boys who now form the deadliest gangs in these countries where more than a dozen murders occur daily in the cities. On August 16-18, 2015 there were 125 murders in just 3 days in El Salvador.  This has led to an estimated 66,000 kids fleeing for their life in the last 2 years.

Neighboring Costa Rica also had a civil war, but then officially abolished its military in 1948. What followed was peace ever since and the emergence of a safe haven in Central America. This goodwill seems to have grown as Costa Rica recently decided to close public zoos in the spirit of honoring an animal’s right to freedom. They have adopted a no cage policy for animals in a time where humans are being caged at unprecedented rates around the world – ironically mostly in America – the land of the free.

On the road to Indian independence many of Gandhi’s followers were met with armed forces bent on stopping their quest. When peace was persistent the armed forces were stopped in shame – some even fled scared. Martin Luther King and many others showed similar success. For a time John Lennon was considered an enemy of the United States. Peace proclaimers are considered dangerous and are commonly killed by bullets – but they are hardly silenced. This is why our project has nothing to do with acting from fear. Rather, we are preparing for a future that is sustainable. Building and living in humane communities in peace is the only sustainable path. We choose to live in La La land. Light easily illuminates and cuts through darkness, yet no amount of darkness can ever dim the light.

The Smart Dome Home

The Smart Dome Home

With the rapid changes in technological advancements, we are seeing disruptive changes in many industries. The new way of providing solutions and services is in flux for nearly every area of production and social interaction. With the driverless car, graphene, and nano technology on the horizon – it seems many more areas of life are about to change. We are paddling to the waves with the innovation of the portable self sustainable dome home – which is now forming it’s final features. We are taking full advantage of the advancements in computing, cameras, solar, sensors, and widespread internet connections to create a smart dome home.

Our plan is to disrupt the current notion of housing and communities by abandoning perspectives that make our current system seem reasonable. We see it as being a similar situation as the introduction of the telegraph, airplane, automobile or the birth of the internet. At a social level it could be seen as the advent of the idea of equal rights for all people. There was a time when this seemed absurd, but now commonly accepted as a moral standard. We hope to witness an expansion of this standard by showing the changes in lifestyle and relationships as people are no longer forced to give their life energy and focus to the basic needs of life. Energy will shift to true engagement with ones family and community instead of being used to further entrench a system that is destroying earth’s natural systems and robbing our children’s future.

Before many innovations became widespread, they were viewed as novelties that could never take hold and really change the world. We feel the same is about to happen today in the very near future. It will not just be housing that gets new discernment, but perhaps all features of life that surround home and family. Emerging ideas spread instantly now, which brings the real possibility of quick and meaningful change. Education is forming many new branches that are very different than past methods of memorizing and regurgitating information. Great possibilities abound when design thinking is coupled with the new tools and technologies of our time. The technology and environment are fertile for a new breed of humans who truly realize their freedom and abilities to control the future.

Our dome design is being developed at the Fremont MakerSpace in Northern California. Here we are refining the magnetic triangle dome panels to incorporate functionality that will allow for real time monitoring and control of light, sound, water, moisture, ventilation, camera views, and automated aquaponic gardens. We are preparing beta projects that will launch this year. We believe that as folks witness the possibilities, many more will join in this real life manifestation of change.

We no longer use bloodletting as a medical procedure or carriages for transportation. In words we no longer accept slavery and usury. We believe our actions will soon coincide with our intuition and instinct. The grid system that pits humans in competition with each other will eventually be discredited. Truth always wins. We are preparing for that day with a smart dome home and community solution that will fit nicely into the future we foresee.

Reconciling Reality – Kids, Crazies, Hippies, and Hobos

Reconciling Reality – Kids, Crazies, Hippies, and Hobos

What is the real world? Those that don’t understand how to navigate through it are very vulnerable, which is why most people ultimately conform to fit into the framework of society. It was recently discovered that humans have been making fire for about 400,000 years. So civilization is really quite new and hardly the whole of human history. We are in a state of metamorphosis with the rapid rise and unprecedented power to communicate and share ideas. We believe that an incredible opportunity has arisen that will allow us to rewrite our own definition of what constitutes civilization. Food, water, shelter, security, and the innate need to be together are at the root of what creates community.  When we handle these needs in a more reasonable and responsible way, the form and function of civilization will start to transform as well. How can this happen if those with dissenting ideas are the yet un-molded young and those considered too stubborn or stupid to be of any real use in today’s economic end all, number-centric paradigm?

We have always and will always be at war. History repeats itself right? It’s a dog eat dog world, survival of the fittest, individual empowerment, you deserve it all and will get it if you work hard and don’t give up. Those that don’t understand or accept this reality are children, radical, crazy, or lazy. They have no worth to civilization and fall into the category of idiots. Indeed this word comes from the Greek word diōtēs – meaning one who did not understand their role as part of community, “a person lacking professional skill”, “a private citizen”…  self-centeredness and concerned almost exclusively with private—as opposed to public—affairs. Wikipedia

The United Nations just announced that the number of refugees worldwide indicates a world in an unprecedented state of chaos. This seems to point to a world unaware or not concerned with the global community. This seems to be the height of idiotic. Borders and budgets mean much more than health and happiness. Private property rights stump everything else – even human life and liberty. With proposed laws to ban protests popping up across the U.S.A, now even constitutional rights are outlawed to protect private property. Instead of addressing the obvious unrest, pass a law to sweep it under the rug. This affront to freedom is easily imposed with citizens “educated” from birth to count, categorize, define, and assign a number and value to everything except one’s own sacred birth rights.

Most respectable folk believe they are part of world progress and are contributing to their community with their daily work. At a close glance this seems so. But If one stands back and observes the whole world situation it becomes apparent that the result of private concerns has raped the earth, clouded the concerns of community, and openly detests humane perspectives emerging from a discerning and maturing civilization. If you are either unable or unwilling to live within the currently prescribed path, then you are a child, crazy, a hippie, or a hobo. Our mission is to blaze a new trail and reconcile reality for those willing to travel a new direction. If you fall into this category, then our developments in disrupting housing with an affordable, portable, solar, self sustainable geo dome home may interest you.

We just partnered up with the Fremont MakerSpace in Fremont, CA as a home base for the final development of our project. Check it out at fremontmakerspace.com

Disney’s Tomorrowland

Disney’s Tomorrowland

A few days ago at lunch my friend asked me what science experiment I would perform if I could choose anything at all. My response was this: What would happen if everyone on Earth was focused on the exact same thought and feeling – at the same exact time. Would the physical world change – even if for a moment? We laughed, but realized this may very well be possible really soon. Everyone on Earth will have a smartphone in the coming years, so a simultaneously experienced video broadcast could really happen – and achieve this experiment.  The next day we happened to watch Disney’s newest movie Tomorrowland. This scenario doesn’t happen in the movie, but the premise of a reality created by our imagination is certainly nothing new to Disney. No spoilers ahead.

Tomorrowland, like many other science fiction futuristic films, shows our current day as the end of times. It was good to see the topic of the future approached in such an entertaining way, while still broaching the big issues of our time. The emphasis on a future filled with incredible technology is not so far fetched considering the incredible changes upon us. The latest special effects are spectacular and fresh, but the storyline of “believing” is in the bones of Disney. Most of their movies seem to have very similar premises: the archetypical bad guys or world threatening crisis beat by the underdog powered by truth, heart, and courage.

The big take away from Tomorrowland is that the future is in our hands. This may seem like hot air, and not seem like anything profound or special at all. We all know this. We are independent, self willed and in control of our destiny. We are free and at the pinnacle of progress. Our technology will come to the rescue and science will be our savior. But if this is the case, then why are conditions getting increasingly worse for earth’s health, and seriously threatening life for future generations. All the while there appears to be many well funded organizations and powerful governments tackling the problems. yet the headlines keep getting more disturbing with each passing day.

What will the land of tomorrow really be like? Will some fantastical story unfold like we see in Disney’s latest sci-fi adventure. Is the world of a better tomorrow just a fantasy – or to be molded by our own hands? This is the important question this latest movie poses. It is nothing new to ponder these macro matters, but perhaps the time has come to dream up solutions. Walt Disney famously said, “If you can dream it you can do it.”  He also said, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” Disney has done what it does best, and has framed the solution in fantasy. It is up to us to remove it from the realm of fantasy and truly “believe”.

Disrupting Housing- Tesla Powered Dome Home

Disrupting Housing- Tesla Powered Dome Home

It seems everything is getting disrupted these days with clever apps and new business models that harness the new digital landscape. Cheaper taxis and multitudes of ways to communicate are nice, but the status quo has yet to be shaken to it’s core. Bitcoin offers a monetary disruption, and a significant second is housing. Buying and maintaining our boxes seems to be a lifelong endeavor. We don’t believe it has to be. A little scratch of the head reveals there are lots of alternatives emerging that could end the 30 year mortgage, a paper chain commitment most folks still consider the American dream.

We’ve been pursuing a new way to build a solid inexpensive home now for nearly 2 years. At the dawn of our first prototype we got a wonderful surprise. Power is one of the biggest challenges we’ve faced on our road to a new self sustainable housing model. You’ll see our current power cell design uses old lead battery technology packed in recycling bins. Multiple units with heavy batteries are needed in our first power source plan. Everything just changed now that the new and exciting home battery was just announced by none other than Tesla.

Jeff Evanson, Tesla’s investor relations director notably revealed that CEO Elon Musk believes rivals’ batteries “suck”. So starting last year testing began with SolarCity customers in 230 houses in California, and 100 out of the state. Early reports said the battery will cost $13,000 and would be installed 1.5 feet off the ground and need about a foot of space around the perimeter. The April 30th announcement revealed a 6 inch thick wall mounted battery that is a real good looker that comes in different colors too! The cost is an affordable $3,500 for a 10kWh unit and a cheaper $3,000 version with a 7kWh capacity. Solar power is ideally stored in this beautiful clean and quiet milestone to the future.

The new battery will be available for home and large scale needs, and is capable of being controlled via smartphone or web applications, Charging happens via solar, the grid, or generators, and can feed power back to the grid. Initial beta users are reporting making $10 – $12 a month selling power back to the utility company. Now that is a nice reversal of roles. This wonderful new Tesla home battery is a perfect companion to power our portable and completely self sustainable dome homes.

The future is certainly upon us, and it is looking pretty good right about now. With changes happening so quickly, it seems our initial dreams of disrupting housing are getting closer to reality with each passing month. It seems the world is ready for the big solutions and we are excited to offer our contributions. We look forward to building our first prototype dome home powered with Tesla batteries. Soon a truly free and independent dome home community will sprout and show a clear path off the grid. The solutions are already here, we just have to reach out and grab them.

The Digital Renaissance – And, Or, and Not

The Digital Renaissance – And, Or, and Not

I can still remember my first day of philosophy class. It was a lecture about how logic had been stripped from the educational curriculum, and the reason why the world had run amuck. The points of the lecture were valid, yet there were no resolutions in reality. So I concluded the teacher was jaded and over thinking things. Lately it’s been getting more clear that there is certainly a void of rationale and reason that is drifting the world into dangerous waters. Using logic may be a real solution now. It is possible that the underlying premises that spew our daily headlines, can be rewritten with the emergence of real time data, the internet of things, and everyone on Earth watching and interacting online.

If technology does what it could, then we we will enter an era where logic and reason reign. Much of computing power comes from the boolean – where everything ultimately ends up as a 0 or 1 representing variations of True and False. “Boolean algebra has been fundamental in the development of digital electronics, and is provided for in all modern programming languages. It is also used in set theory and statistics.” – Wikipedia. This most basic of mathematical methods to determine truth could readily be applied towards constructing a better structure for our future.

There are many ways booleans are used, most simply it’s defined: AND: True & True; OR: True & False; and NOT: False & False. Many mathematical compositions can be built from here, but at it’s core it boils down to Conjunction (and), Disjunction (or), and Negation (not). Using web applications to assess what is best for earth has never been available like it is now, with the rapidly evolving technology and ever growing human data. The processing power and information are now here. We are not talking about a computer taking over our lives, but rather using the information and insight from real time connections and assessments, to make decisions with logical discernment. The era of politics and power have left much to be desired, and hopefully will soon be relics of the past.

The world situation gets more clear now that we are increasingly connected with constant communication and online sharing. About 2 billion people are online now. What happens when the other 5 billion come online and voice their vote. It is planned for everyone on earth to be online by 2020 or so. Online access now is only about 28% in Asia, 15% in Africa, 43% in Latin America, and 40% in the Middle East. Things could get interesting as real time interactions become ubiquitous. How will this technology be used? There has never been a time in history like now. We can correct our past errors or further entrench them. A digital renaissance is upon us. Will logic and reason prevail?

In memory of Leonard Nimoy. Rest in Peace.

Why Build a Geodesic Dome Home?

Why Build a Geodesic Dome Home?

Why go round instead of square? For starters take a look at how nature designs everything. The movement and momentum of life happens on a platform based on the circle. There aren’t really any straight lines or squares in the growth of life and movement of the heavens. So why do we build most everything using squares or straight lines? We don’t live in MineCraft, so we may want to explore the world of circles and natural ratios to build our future homes and products. Here are just a few very good reasons why this makes sense.

The geo dome structures weigh less when completed because of the air-mass inside the dome. When it’s heated warmer than the outside air, it has a net lifting effect -like a hot-air balloon. This is almost unnoticeable in smaller structures, like houses, but as geodesics are based upon spheres, the effect increases geometrically with size. So you’d be able to notice it in a sports stadium, and a sphere more than a half mile in diameter would be able to float in the air with only a 1 degree Fahrenheit difference in temperature.

“The Geodesic Dome is, simply stated, the strongest, lightest and most efficient means of enclosing space yet devised.”  American Institute of Architects. This says it all, but here are some more reasons. Geodesic domes use about a third less building materials for some substantial savings.  The primary factor affecting efficient use of materials and energy in a structure is its shape. Think of a soap bubble. A sphere represents the smallest amount of material surface area needed to enclose a given volume of space. A divided sphere becomes one of the most efficient shapes known to enclose a given floor area.

The lower the total outside surface area (walls and ceilings) the greater the efficiency in energy use for heating and cooling.  A dome has approximately one-third less surface area to the outside than a box-style structure. The amount of surface area exposed to the elements has a much greater impact on energy efficiency than insulation values. Efficient airflow inside a dome adds to the energy savings further; the curved surface of a dome provides a natural circulation of internal air.  Outside the dome, the round shape provides an aerodynamic effect; so wind passes over the dome with less resistance. In comparison, a box-style structure provides a flat barrier to wind, creating positive wind pressure and suction. Ever notice how a door will slam shut when a door to the outside is left open, or air blows in from under a closed door?

The nature of the spherical design provides strength because the stress is shared evenly by all the points of the structure. The dome shape allows resistance to movement from earthquakes, high winds, and spreads stress from snow load evenly throughout the structure. The geometry of the triangle offers additional strength to the dome shape. Interior advantages of the dome include greater freedom of floor plan design, high ceilings, and even light, heat, and sound distribution. Domes display superior light characteristics as spherical shapes tend to amplify light while rectangular shapes tend to trap light. Acoustical advantages include more even sound distribution and less outside noise infiltration.

Most interesting and important are recent studies that show that the full spectrum of energy waves are available in the center of a dome.  In a box, the energy waves are blocked. Thus the saying, “I feel like I am boxed in…”  We seem to know instinctually and feel physically the comfort of being inside a dome. The importance of the natural energy waves all around us is just beginning to be understood. Lastly, let’s not forget they are simply good looking and cool.

Should You Build A Square or Round Home?

3-D Object Print Your Own Home

Do you remember the days of typewriters and TV antennas? These were great technologies for their time, but are relics of history now – and largely unknown. The developments of the last few decades have certainly changed the world rapidly. It is safe to say that the technologies and methods we use today will soon become history as well. Now we have the quickly growing development of affordable machines and printers that create objects. Your imagination is the limit.  We believe today’s emerging technologies will help bring back our dependance on each other instead of the current set up where banks and insurance companies are in charge of our homes and security. The ability to print your own home is here now. We are currently creating the first prototypes of a geodesic dome home kit cut with a ShopBot, using the most common 2×4 lumber and plywood.

For the majority of human existence (pre-civilization), humans have lived together in daily cooperation and communication.  This is the story we would like to build our foundation upon – what we believe is the true human story – before the grid. This story involves minds and souls freed up to live, communicate, and create everyday. The tools and technologies at hand allow us to continuously improve on the design and building of our homes as well as most anything else we may need. Our plan includes the use of modern technologies to form a self sustaining housing system that has human needs at the center of every design, material, and construction method. Human’s cooperating, building, and playing together is the basis of a true community. We will leverage all the latest technologies and tools to demonstrate that this is a potential alternate reality.

This is not a plan for building new grids that separate us into boxes to endlessly compete with each other under a veil of scarcity. This same premise permeated the recently cancelled Fox show Utopia that was billed as the largest social experience ever. They attempted a utopia with characters abiding by the same principles and attitudes that define our current system – but severe our natural inclinations to help and support each other. Fox made sure that the most “diverse” types were cast for optimum “reality”. It turned out to be a good example of the fears and anxieties that govern and separate us – but especially the desperate desire to transcend them. We look to create a Utopia based on a completely different script that cuts out the middle man.

We are putting our efforts into starting a new type of community that is fundamentally different from the foundations of the grid system. We are approaching this venture embracing all the technologies and information available today. Thus we are building a community where anyone can create anything they need with the help of 3D Printers, ShopBots, open source software, and the collective creativity and coherence of everyone in the circle. We are now printing the first geodesic dome home which will be completely self sustaining and designed with humans and life as the focus – and a better way of living together as the goal.

Life 2.0: What program runs your super computer?

Life 2.0: What program runs your super computer?

My first computer class was learning DOS. It stands for Disk Operating System and was the dominating PC platform until about the year 2000. It is a simple logical language that transformed into the super computing power we have today. All graphics were very square. Even circles were jagged. Pre internet computers had all sorts of useful programs and some neat games too. But today we have supercomputers in our pocket with internet, limitless social connection, and real life games. A computer’s processor, memory, and hard drive work in the same way our brain’s cortices communicate. Our brain – powered with the heart as a power supply – is the ultimate super computer. This begs the question: What program are we running on it?

We spend our lives stuffing the brain with endless facts and images that program the brain just like any software. It happens our entire lives, from the day we are born until the day we die. We have short term memory that is like Random Access Memory (RAM), an important part of processing in a computer – and the brain too. If you don’t clear your RAM cache regularly – your computer will indeed crash eventually. We put great emphasis on memorization, counting, and categorizing, but how about clearing our cache? It seems some are starting to crash considering the daily headlines of the “new normal”.

What are these facts, figures, and beliefs? Science says they are not a reflection of what is real – on the contrary – what is real is a reflection of our collective display. What we display is bound within the boundaries of our software programs. Our education is a program of sorts for sure. Forget the past science, social studies, and economics classes – they are like DOS running and limiting a supercomputer. So what can we do? It is impossible to unplug from the main frame of society – right? This feeling of inevitability is an intrical part of the program we run on today – a virus that has attached to our supercomputer.

This virus is absolutely necessary to maintain the manifestation of the grid system we live in and support daily with our feelings, actions, and the words we give breath. The understanding and discernment of the fact that we are not just observers – but creators, can affect everyone and everything. If our program didn’t tell us we had to abide by the history of the world, that people are greedy and violent  – we might create a world where we use our supercomputer to build a new platform that works on an open source transparent model.  Let’s call it Life 2.0.

We regularly run programs to calm our spirit and give us hope. These are the music, movies, and art of life. It is time for more: Life 2.0 is a new improved operating system built with the latest features that take advantage of our awesome processor and wireless capabilities. Yes – we have a wireless modem too! In Life 2.0 we get out of the boxes we “live” in and enjoy the full range of wireless service available in a geodesic dome. If you feel like you are in a box and want out – join us.

Halloween and How-we-been

Halloween and How-we-been

“Why does Halloween celebrate death, scary monsters and bloody messes?” My curious kids recently asked me this obvious question. Candy and costumes cloud the origins – whether we believe it honors the dead or is an ancient harvest festival – Halloween now revels in the dark and devilish. Why is there such a deep difference in what this hallowed evening originally observed and how it manifests today?  Does it matter if we remember and honor the dead? Why has Halloween, a celebration of what we have been, turned into a horror show?

Today’s world centers on the science and math of the material world, while delegating matters of the spirit and soul to religion, philosophy, and weirdos. The underlying message of our economy-centric society is that the esoteric is really inconsequential. The passing on of our ancestor’s life map, has been replaced by a fixation on fake numbers and constant online engagement. For some this has been a wellspring of knowledge and cosmic connections. For many others it is strong stimulation of the senses, but scarce on human presence.

Our modern classroom lessons lay the foundation of humanity represented only by the last few thousand years of civilization. These empires are presented as the epoch of human progress and the whole of our history. We reinforce this tale with our heroes, celebrities, and leaders. But what of the previous hundreds of thousands of years of the human journey. This code is buried deep within our DNA, the same way innate knowing tells the birds how to fly south and gives the bees their hive blueprints. Have we perhaps forgotten our innate awareness?

Ghosts and ghouls don’t seem like an appropriate memorial for the great spirits that seeded the strengths of the human species and gave us the understanding to thrive for thousands upon thousands of years. The characters of continuous warfare create our ongoing world story, but do not represent the true passion of our past. On the contrary – our present world “order” is but a blip in time that will fade away as nature rejects life forms so out of balance with the natural systems.

If we are simply slabs of meat that have no access to the heavens until we die, then what we have now on Earth may make some sort of morbid sense. However, if we have lost our ancestral intelligence, forging a future without this accumulated wisdom could be a pretty big problem. Honoring and remembering the lessons, values, character, and goodness of our dearly departed may be essential to our future.

The Halloween costumes of the future could celebrate the culture, agriculture, music, dance, art, and stories that were left by past souls who have lived and learned. The Earth could never have survived this long if humans had always lived with the priorities and perspectives of our era. We can harness our history and build a future that is distinctly different from the current grid system that demotes the human spirit to the hedonistic, gruesome and grotesque during a time that was once reserved for a hallowed evening of remembrance and respect.

30 Years A Slave

30 Years A Slave

Many alive today watched the 1960’s TV re-runs as children in the 1970’s, the neon shine of the 1980’s, the network’s News/War shows of the 1990’s on, and the global digitization of the 2000’s. Somewhere along the storyline of progress emerged a society of latch key kids, mass shootings, militarized police, continuous war, genocide, and loads of depressed folks that are desperately trying to “find themselves.”  In the pursuit of profit we’ve been persuaded to consume copious amounts of sugar, eat tortured animals with a side of poisoned produce; all while participating in an economy that desecrates earth, air, water, and soul. Despite all this progress – decades of song and cinema lament the variety of anxieties humans increasingly face. In the “First World” countries it takes 30 years to get “educated” and situated, then another 30 years of mortgage payments.  “Third World” people are outright disenfranchised slaves. It is time for a “Better World.”

We decided to discontinue our contributions to the status quo and create the most simple and inexpensive path to real freedom. We believe 30 years a slave is way too long to secure the basic needs of life. We are embarking on the building of an open source self-sustainable magnetic dome homestead. This includes a dome home kit that is super strong, ultra comfortable, and can be built in a day. Solar power, water capture, composting toilets, and grey water gardens make it a closed loop, self sustaining way of living. We are setting up our first projects in off grid areas that have abundant sun, legal water capture, and inexpensive land.

We aim to demonstrate a way to create a better world every day – instead of being a peg in a machine that is repeating the past. Our ultimate goal is to show how every action of every day can contribute to a different world. Our priceless time and attention are free and focused when we decide what world we will create every day with every breath. This is no longer Disneyland talk – but solidly apparent quantum physics. Asserting our profound influence on reality is the foundation for freedom and our most valuable currency.

Human beings are profoundly social and influenced tremendously by their environment. The latest studies in genetics show how one can become a murderous sociopath or loving person – all depending on the support and influences of childhood. Social statistics and now science – clearly confirm the epigenetic connection. The only true correctional facility is a cohesive community that cherishes everyone. This is only attainable if the basic needs of life are available for all. Our dome homestead will give a real life example of how this is easily possible – and really is a matter of choosing to live the future today.

Earth’s oldest culture – the Aborigines of Australia, believe the dream world is more real than this material world. Considering the eternal nature of love, family, and community – it seems reasonable and right. Our energy can contribute to the eternal, or obsess on the fleeting material world of fear based competition for funny money. After 30 years a slave to our current system and it’s tenets, it is clear that there is a better way than the prescribed progress.

Ferguson and the Law of the Jungle

Ferguson and the Law of the Jungle

Is-this-normalWhat’s up in Ferguson, MO? Are they just “animals” and “losers” like Kevin Sorbo of Hercules recently ranted. This type of de-humanizing language, void of compassion, is on the rise – along with billions of dollars of military equipment for domestic use. But we would have the law of the jungle if there were no police – right? It used to be that the mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, grandmas and pas were the leaders, mediators, and police of their clan. When did responsibility end and the blame game begin? Many cities today are increasingly void of a strong foundation of families that are responsible for the community. True human connections are stunted by the economic paper chains that mute human freedom and cloud the inhumane disasters that increasingly plague us.

The media blames racism, poverty, or bad/stupid people who just want rims, hair weaves, and government hand-outs. One recent headline reads, “Compton School Police To Be Armed With AR-15 Rifles.” It seems like love and peace are now just hippie motifs meant to give us the feeling everything is cool. It reminds me of the clear liquid we concocted in chemistry class that smelled exactly like bananas – but obviously was not. Remember the social outcry when gangster rap emerged? Now the Compton condition is just mettle for wanna-be-millionaire rappers – and has spread to pop culture all around the world. Forget the message, feel the beat, look at the shine. Is main-streaming acceptance of serious problems really the solution? Do we really want rampant racism, militarized police, and mass shootings to be the new normal?

Seemingly basic responsibilities of stewardship, family, and community have increasingly been abandoned and replaced by economic survival. If we remember how horrible human events have unfolded in the past – we can avoid the same in the future. The way it is happening now is how it always happens. Economic depression gives way to desperate human conditions, that make naturally compassionate humans into cornered rats. There are terrible things happening now that opportunity is scarce and war is worldwide. This story leads to human catastrophe while power hungry sociopaths get increasingly wealthy.  Follow the money through history to get the real story.

We can turn our back on 57,000 desperate refugee children that we officially call the Apprehension of Unaccompanied Alien Children. We are in dangerous waters when economic burden so easily supersedes human compassion. It is no wonder that we can callously ignore the plight of poverty stricken African American communities. Slavery and segregation are conveniently forgotten while social injustices soar. See how the for profit prison system is traded on Wall Street so lucratively. Those who claim dangerous racism is in the past – are living in the past. De-humanizing economic excuses comfortably sit aside all the other “news” of the latest iPhone, ball games, and celebrity drama. Something is not just wrong in America as Al Sharpton recently expressed, racist sentiments are fermenting all over the world. See what is happening in Europe now.

Do you remember when you first learned what happened during the holocaust? We were comforted with the slogan, “Never Again.” Most of us believe we are the keepers of justice and freedom in the world – but the track record shows millions killed from racism’s mentor genocide – on our watch. Most believe that this is not happening in our era. It sadly seems that we are like those German’s who sat back as millions were killed. A return to the law of the jungle would be a move in the right direction towards freedom and justice. It is said that the savages are not in the jungle – they are the ones cutting it down.

The struggle of man against power is the struggle of
memory against forgetting.

Living a Lie to Borrow Our Birthright

Living a Lie to Borrow Our Birthright

It is the 4th of July as this is written. Liberty flows the flags flying everywhere. The belief in freedom is America’s greatest strength. We are proud to live in a country that is a beacon of light, leading the world into a new era of human rights for all. If only this were true. If only all the recent history, politics, prisons, wars, resource privatization, bank bailouts, and continuous scandals weren’t true. If only what we were taught in school was meant to benefit us all – instead of giving credibility to a small group of controllers. If only humans were born into a world where they had an unequivocal right to land, food, and water. These are truly the basis of life, liberty, and freedom. Instead, our birthright is lent to us, with interest. This may seem blasphemous to some – but the numbers don’t lie.

These numbers are everywhere and affect everyone on earth everyday. See the numbers on your bills every month. The bare necessities that are truly human birthrights are being sold to us at ever growing prices, for the vain profit of the few. We accept this because we are taught that the economy is as natural as the weather and capitalism is synonymous with democracy and freedom. Without it we would live in a worse world then we have today – which is only conceivable if a meteor hits. They say we need banks, global corporations, and puppet leaders for order and “security”.

The numbers that govern us are presented on the screens of Wall Street that collapse regularly, but always gain huge profits for the same groups – especially if there is war. All the numbers point towards the same trajectory. We are not free – we are in an escalating state of debt, and our children will be even more so. But at least we are not starving or enslaved like so many humans on earth. So surely we must have the best system – right? Perhaps if we believe our only real choices are bad and horrific.

A recent New York Times article, “Income Inequality Is Not Rising Globally. It’s Falling.” argues everything is getting better. This comes from a “consultant of the World Bank” and a “senior scholar of a Luxembourg Income Study Center.” These are the smart folks – so surely anyone who doesn’t agree is ignoring the facts, is a radical, uneducated, or ignorant. This article argues one must look at the global picture to see how the economic numbers show success via a growing middle class (new slaves) especially in China (who needs clean air). Perhaps this has a  small semblance of truth if you take human calamity and earth’s critically injured ecosystem out of the equation. This “reasoning” is how the lies persist. Maybe some numbers do lie under coercion.

Numbers can transcend rhetoric and tell us what is really happening. It is estimated to cost $30 billion to end world hunger, while the U.S. alone spends $737 billion on defense per year. Who are we really defending? A human dies every 4 seconds of hunger. Fifty million is the number of displaced persons worldwide in 2013 according to a recent U.N. report. That’s the highest number of dislocated people since World War II. Half of the refugees are children. How about  the 57,000 kids at the U.S. border? More than a third of the bees are dead . Fourteen thousand people die of water pollution per day. Dead zones will make fish extinct in a few decades. These are the numbers that affect the real world?

These are the troublesome numbers that the world leaders would have you believe are caused by lack of money, education, or the wrong religion. They claim to help the world by privatizing all the land and resources, then lending money so we can borrow our birthright back. They claim that the masses are too ignorant to govern themselves. Consider this recent headline: “Americans Are Too Stupid For GMO Labeling, Congressional Panel Says.” This latest congressional “discussion” reads like a Monsanto play script. Years of “education” ensure we are well trained to sit down, shut up, and listen to our overseers – otherwise they could never get away with these lies.

What we truly have is a system of greedy players in a demented world monopoly game. The senators, ministers, directors, officers, czars, senior scholars – are all funded by the power profit monster. Simply follow the funding trail of organizations, foundations, and “educational” institutions that all support our destructive system. It seems our programmed perspective is used to blind us to the ever growing atrocities against humans and our home – Earth. We quarrel over a political puppet show while our birthright is held as ransom. As you check your mail for the latest debt account statement – ask yourself:  Who are we borrowing from?  Do they have a right to sell human birthrights?  Is this the legacy we want to pass on to our children? To become more than a SSI number we must reject being allocated as consumers and become responsible citizens of Earth.

It seems our current world is sort of like the movie Blackfish. Instead of being born free into an open ocean where we can live with our family groups of four generations – we are forced to do tricks for fish so we can live in a controlled boxed environment. Our offspring are born in the same pool with the same fate while the corporate owners make billions. What is presented as a wonderful show is actually enslaving powerful spiritual creatures. Most endure it, some go psychotic, most have bent dorsal fins. The whales smile, the crowd applauses, and the trainers takes a bow.

Why don’t we just walk away? Why do we refer to those responsible as “they” instead of “we”? Who are “they” – and most importantly – who are we?

Why People Don’t Smile and the Ascent of Truth

Why People Don’t Smile and the Ascent of Truth

Whenever in a public place, my eight year old son always asks me, “Why doesn’t anyone smile?”  It reminds me of when I was a child and found it ridiculous that everyone always seemed to repeat the same responses to each other. Any discussion regarding important issues always ended in conclusions like: “That’s how it’s always been,” and “You can’t beat the system,” or “This and that government/politiicans are corrupt,” and “You can’t escape death or taxes,” – or at the most optimistic, “You got to go with the flow.” This cemented belief in the inevitability of it all never seemed true to me – at all.

As I grew up and learned how the world “works” – I found myself using the same phrases to put a comfortable cap on bothersome news. This was much easier than considering that we have the freedom, ability, and responsibility to right the world’s wrongs. After all, one could not simply stand against 5000 years of human history based on millions of years of human evolution. We are bound by competition and the survival of the fittest. Most live and die at the mercy of our current economic system that is considered the pinnacle of progress.

Darwin’s Origin of Species is the bedrock of our modern paradigm, and the reason why most feel we can’t have something better. It is natural for us to compete and fight as our primary instinct after all. But in his sequel about human evolution,The Descent of Man, Darwin writes of “survival of the fittest,” only twice, but 95 times of love, 12 times of selfishness, 9 times of competition, but 92 times of moral sensitivity, and 24 times of mutuality and mutual aid.  The central role of reason is evident in that he writes 200 times of mind and brain. Why did this get left out of our school curriculum? We are barely taught to reason, but mostly to memorize preconceived perspectives and historical “facts” to support them. Alas, now there is a global brain emerging with the maturing of the internet and the continuous conversation of a new digitally connected clerisy.

For many years it seemed that flowing with the main stream was the only real option. But now there is an emerging truth, and the answer to my son’s question is clearer. Most people don’t smile because they are a river that has been dammed. The premise of competition dams us. Those who have not broken the lid of their box may see this as La La Land. Smiling is a sign of weakness and physical attributes are the most power we have. How well we can throw a ball, be sexy, or “make” money is the main measure of worth. There is however a growing realization and scientific acknowledgment of the quantum connection we have in the creation of our collective reality. This is our true power. When we all come to realize it – our civilization will become civil. A world without leaders where everyone is responsible is not a dream – but the only true reality.

Everything has now changed. With every new truth teller that emerges the cracks in the dam get bigger, thanks to folks like Edward Snowden, Woody Harrelson, and ex CIA intelligence officer Robert David Steele, author of The Open Source Everything Manifesto – Transparency, Truth, and Trust. When the celebrities and leaders of the current machine begin to tell the truth – it is damning to the status quo and the damn gets a nice new crack. Comedian Russell Brand recently called on a 50,000 person protest crowd to stage a “a peaceful, effortless, joyful revolution.” Many criticized this as naive since we all know you have to fight for what we want. Hearing someone speak off script may be difficult for some to understand, but the vibrations of truth crack the dam nonetheless. The dam will certainly fail one day, and the water will emerge with unconstrained strength.

The character Betee said it simply and brilliantly in the Hunger Games movie:  “The Quarter Quell were written in the law by man, certainly it can be unwritten.”
